SHILLONG, Feb 7: The state government on Wednesday effected a minor bureaucratic reshuffle, naming SC Sadhu as the new deputy commissioner of East Khasi Hills.
A notification issued by the government on Wednesday said Sadhu, Secretary to the Community & Rural Development, Forests & Environment Departments etc., is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders.
Outgoing Deputy Commissioner RM Kurbah has been posted as Secretary to Community & Rural Development, Fisheries, Water Resources, AH & Veterinary Departments and as Director, Community & Rural Development.
