A truck loaded with illegally felled timber on the NH44 near Riangdo

A truck loaded with illegally felled timber on the NH44 near Riangdo in West Khasi Hills was spotted on Thursday. Sources said that on an average day, at least 20-30 vehicles ferry illegal timber from the district to nearby Assam.
