Locals complete tailoring and embroidery training

SHILLONG, Feb 13: A Tailoring and Hand Embroidery certification programme was conducted for a batch of trainees in Tyrsad Umkseh village, East Khasi Hills, by Shubham Charitable Association, which had set up a skill training centre in the village last year. It also completed the training for rural female candidates.
Rangbah Shnong of Tyrsad Umkseh Dabit Khasain, Project Coordinator for Shubham Charitable Association Approlan Dohling, association’s Treasurer Sushila Gupta, and founder and president of the association, Pushpa Bajaj were present at the certification ceremony.
The Rangbah Shnong and the trainees along with their trainer thanked the association for the free training programme.
