SHILLONG, Feb 20: In line with Centre’s ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ initiative, aimed at strengthening connections and fostering mutual understanding among people from various states and Union Territories, a cultural evening was held at Raj Bhavan here to celebrate the Foundation Day of Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram.
Governor Phagu Chauhanwas the chief guest of the occasion.
During the event, the Commissioner and Secretary to the Governor, Dr BDR Tiwari, delved into the historical narratives leading to the establishment of these states, while also highlighting their remarkable strengths.
