Shillong Airport gets new taxiway, 2 parking bays

SHILLONG, Feb 22: In what may be termed reaching a milestone, Shillong Airport on Thursday operationalised a new taxiway and additional parking bays (No. 3 and 4).
The newly built facilities welcomed flights from Alliance Air and Indigo.
The new bays are suitable for parking ATR72 & Q400 types of aircraft.
