MCS officer promoted to IAS

Shillong, March 6: Senior MCS officer, Aldealyne Nikhla has been promoted to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and allocated to the joint Assam-Meghalaya cadre, a notification by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions (Department of Personnel & Training) informed.
It stated that Nikhla belonged to the 2000 batch and had joined her service in July 2000 as Extra Assistant Commissioner (EAC), Tura.
