- The Meghalaya State Commission for Women in collaboration with the Department of Social Welfare and Ka Lympung ki Seng Kynthei, Shillong, will organise a programme to celebrate the International Women’s Day 2024 at the Community Hall of Laitkor Dorbar Pyllun, East Khasi Hills.
- The State Hub for Empowerment of Women, Directorate of Social Welfare, will celebrate the International Women’s Day at the State Convention Centre at 10 am. Health Minister Ampareen Lyngdoh will be the chief guest.
- The statewide launch of the National Birth Defect Awareness Month March 2024 will be held at Ganesh Das Hospital, Shillong, at 10 am.
