Shillong, March 25: Cricket Smit CC and Pomshutia CC won their respective matches in the 3rd East Khasi Hills Cricket Association District League in Smit on Monday.
Smit were three-wicket winners against Mawphlang CC, while Pomshutia defeated Mawryngkneng CC by four wickets.
In the first match, Mawphlang posted 107/6 (20 overs) after choosing to bat, a total that Smit chased down in 16.3 overs for the loss of 7 wickets.
Later, Pomshutia bundled out Mawryngkneng for 76 in 15.3 overs. The chase saw Pomshutia lose their way a little but still get to the target in 17.5 overs.
