St. Edmund’s wins inter-college Quiz competition

SHILLONG, March 27: An inter-college Quiz competition was organised by Sankardev College, Shillong, on Wednesday, which saw the participation of eight colleges from Shillong.
The competition was sponsored by the Meghalaya government under the CMYDS 2022-23 through the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills.
St. Edmund’s College, represented by Sanjana Rani and Niyazul Rehman, emerged as winners, and received a certificate and cash prize of Rs 5,000. The second prize was bagged by Raid Laban College, represented by the duo of Diya Sinha and Rajesh Barman, who received certificates and a cash prize of Rs 4000. St. Anthony’s College took the third prize and Jennifer R Marak and Christina Themsingphi AS, who represented the college, received certificates and a cash prize of Rs 3000.
The Quizmaster of the competition was Batskhem Rapsang, Assistant Teacher, KJP Girls Higher Secondary School.
