Assam schoolteacher goes missing in city

SHILLONG, April 15: A 55-year-old schoolteacher from Assam on Monday went missing in the state capital.
An FIR has also been registered at Lumdiengjri Police Station in this regard.
According to the complainant, the missing person, identified as Sanjay Sharma from Hawang village, West Karbi Anglong district of Assam, had arrived in Shillong at around 9:30 am on Monday, following which no connection could be established with him.
According to the complainant, Sharma’s mobile phone has also been out of network.
Meanwhile, according to the FIR, Sharma, who was supposed to go for marketing at Iewduh, went missing from Garikhana.
The missing person is 5’4” tall, has a dark complexion and has a cut mark on his left arm. He was last seen wearing a pair of black trousers, striped sweater and was carrying a bagpack of SPM IAS Academy, Guwahati.
Meanwhile, all concerned, who know the whereabouts of Sharma, have been asked to contact 9089190825 or 9101394977 or inform the nearest police station.
