MLCU hosts three-day innovation, technical fest

SHILLONG, April 24: The Department of Information Technology of Martin Luther Christian University (MLCU) celebrated the resounding success of its 7th Annual Technical Fest, ‘METANOIA 2024’, which was sponsored by TechWeb Shillong and MOONTON, and powered by NEURON ESPORTS.
The three-day event provided a platform for students to showcase their technical skills, unleash creativity, and foster collaboration.
With over 300 participants from across Meghalaya and the Northeast, METANOIA 2024 promoted inclusivity through a mix of online and offline events.
Highlighting the fusion of technical innovation and entertainment, popular events like BGMI and Mobile Legends attracted participants from urban to rural areas, reflecting the widespread appeal of gaming culture among the Gen-Z.
A standout feature was the Innovation Showcase, featuring projects like ELiGen, a Miniature App Development platform by TechSoul Shillong, a ChatBot innovation from Assam Don Bosco University, and the Mini Smart Gate from MLCU’s Department of Information Technology.
