Anti-aircraft ammo recovered from SGH fores

TURA, April 25: South Garo Hills Police on Thursday recovered a huge cache of live anti-aircraft ammunitions hidden in the jungles of Chokpot.
Acting on specific inputs that the ammunition was hidden somewhere in the jungle at Chibokgre village under Chokpot police station, a team led by the Chokpot Sub-Divisional Police Officer proceeded towards the suspected area to conduct search on Wednesday night. After a thorough search, the hidden ammunition was recovered early morning on Thursday.
The items which were recovered in the presence of witnesses include 340 live anti-aircraft ammunitions and four ammunition boxes.
