MCTA elects prez, other members

SHILLONG, April 26: As part of the 35th Biennial Conference of the Meghalaya College Teachers’ Association (MCTA) held at Shillong College here on Friday, the elections of new office-bearers was held wherein Shiv K Pradhan was elected as the president of MCTA, while Longnam W Kharpuri was elected as the general secretary.
Moreover, two vice-presidents, a treasurer, six joint secretaries and 14 executive members were also elected. The biennial conference was attended by members drawn from the affiliate college units of the Association from across the state.
