Synod College wins singing competition

SHILLONG, May 2: Synod College has bagged the first prize in the BP Bajoria Memorial Trophy Inter-College Singing Competition, which was held here on Thursday.
According to a statement here, the Women’s College and KL Bajoria College have secured the second and third positions respectively.
Comprising Lamphang Manik Syiem, Maxter Warjri and Dr. WJD Kharlukhi as the judges, the competition served as a platform for young talents to shine and pursue their passion for music.
“This event, aimed at celebrating the spirit of music and honouring the legacy of late B P Bajoria, witnessed a remarkable display of talent from participating colleges of Shillong,” the statement said.
