SHILLONG, May 8: Police have failed to make any breakthrough in the fake letter case involving senior TMC leader and former chief minister, Mukul Sangma.
According to the contents of the fake letter, Mukul along with other party leaders had written to BJP national president JP Nadda, expressing their intent to join the BJP along with the four MLAs of the Voice of the People Party.
Mukul had filed an FIR in this regard at Tura police station.
Police said despite investigation, they have not been able to zero down on anyone and, therefore, no arrests have been made so far.
