Ambassador of France to India Thierry Mathou pays a visit to the Mawphlang Sacred forest, on Friday. He was accompanied by his spouse Cecile Mathou, Consul General of France in Kolkata Didier Talpain, Hima Mawphlang Myntri S Sohliya, Grand Council of Chiefs of Meghalaya Chairman John F Kharshiing, et al. The delegation had also paid a visit to Heritage Village and Mawphlang dam.
