Govt to float EoI for operation of residential schools

SHILLONG, May 16: The state government will float an Expression of Interest (EoI) for the interested bidders to run the model residential schools in Meghalaya.
Informing this, Education Minister Rakkam Sangma said around 21 residential schools have been completed and now they are going to float an EoI for groups, institutions and NGOs to run these schools.
“Neither the state nor the central government will operate these schools, and since these assets are ready, we want to make it functional,” he said.
