Office-bearers
The All India Garo Union (AIGU) Headquarters Shillong elected its members of the Executive Committee Body. The elected members are Elbarth Marak (president), Rompi N Sangma (vice president), Diplu G Momin (secretary general), Abinash G Momin and Arther A Sangma (both additional secretaries general), Tended G Momin (secretary social welfare) and Silman K Marak (Secretary Finance and Accounts).
The general elections of the All Guwahati A’chik Students’ Association (AGASA) was held recently where several leaders were elected. The newly elected leaders include Silseng M Sangma as president, Chesan Ch Marak as vice president, Mikkimra T Sangma as general secretary and Julash M Sangma as assistant general secretary. Other members of the association are to be nominated by the newly-elected members.
