Short film competition on human rights

SHILLONG, May 28: The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has officially opened entries for its 10th annual short film competition on human rights. The competition, which has garnered a tremendous response from across the country, aims to recognise and encourage the creative efforts of Indian citizens in promoting and protecting human rights through cinema.
Entries for the competition can be submitted until August 30, 2024, via Google Drive to the email address [email protected].
The competition offers cash prizes with Rs 2 lakh awarded to the first-place winner, Rs 1.5 lakh to the second-place winner, and Rs 1 lakh to the third-place winner. Additionally, the NHRC may award Certificates of Special Mention, each accompanied by a cash prize of Rs 50,000, based on the Jury’s recommendations.
