NPP leaders meet CM over delayed projects in WJH

JOWAI, June 6: The District Executive Committee of the National People’s Party (NPP) in West Jaintia Hills met Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on Thursday to discuss the delay of several key projects.
The primary focus was the new Iawmusiang market project, which holds significant importance for the district.
During the meeting, the committee also urged the Chief Minister to address the issue of delayed salary releases for employees of the Jaintia Hills Autonomous District Council (JHADC).
The delegation was led by Jowai MLA Wailadmiki Shylla and Jaintia Hills Autonomous District Council Chief Executive Member T Shiwat.
