Two boys escape from juvenile home

SHILLONG, June 6: Two juveniles on Thursday afternoon escaped from the boys’ juvenile home in Mawkasiang, New Shillong Township.
Sources stated that the boys had recently been sent to the juvenile home after being apprehended in Dawki for trespassing into India from Bangladesh.
The authorities have filed an FIR, and the matter has been reported to the concerned Juvenile Justice Board (JJB), as the two juveniles were found in conflict with the law.
Meanwhile, the police have informed that they are still on the lookout for the two juveniles.
