Selsella SA to face Chipakkore FC in Tura Football League Super Division final

Tura, June 9: Selsella SA has secured a spot in the Super Division final of the Tura Football League after defeating BOCA Juniors 2-0 in the third semi-final round held at the P. A. Sangma Stadium, Dakopgre, Tura, on Saturday.
From the onset, both teams launched aggressive attacks, trying to break each other’s defenses but remained deadlocked. However, late in the first half, Selsella SA capitalized on their opportunities, with Chingku Moring M Sangma scoring in the 41st minute and Chichang Momin following up with another goal just a minute later. This quick succession of goals gave Selsella SA a solid 2-0 lead by halftime.
Despite numerous attempts in the second half, both teams struggled to convert their chances into goals. The match saw several offsides and missed opportunities, with Selsella’s Artrish Ch Marak receiving the only yellow card in the 59th minute. The game concluded with Selsella SA maintaining their 2-0 lead, securing their place in the final and eliminating BOCA Juniors from the competition.
The Super Division final promises to be an exhilarating match as Selsella SA seeks redemption against Chipakkore FC, who had previously defeated them in the first semi-final. Both teams, being the top leaders in the league, are set to face each other again under higher stakes, heightening the anticipation for the final showdown.
The final match of the Tura Football League will take place on June 15th at the P. A. Sangma Stadium. The District Football Association is making comprehensive preparations for what is expected to be a grand celebration.
