SHILLONG, June 14: The Rotary Club of Shillong presented its annual Vocational Awards to five prominent sports coaches during a programme here on Friday.
The awards, which were sponsored by Meghalaya Apex Bank and given away by chief guest Manas Chaudhuri, consisted of a citation and some valuable gifts.
The recipients of the vocational awards include Hering Shangpliang (football), Ashok Limbu (boxing), Audrey Rosaline Synnah (basketball), Peter Jarman Lamare (cricket) and Balarina Syiem (badminton).
