TURA, June 18: The UGC-NET examinations were for the first time held successfully in Tura on Tuesday at four centres, viz. Don Bosco College, Sherwood School, Captain Williams, and Nokrek Heights School.
A total of 1,080 candidates registered and appeared for the exams at these centers.
“The examinations began promptly at 09:30 am for the first shift and at 02:30 pm for the second shift. Both shifts concluded smoothly and on schedule, with no reported issues at any of the centers,” informed Don Bosco College Principal, Fr Bivan Rodrigues Mukhim.
Mukhim, who is the City Coordinator, credited the success of the examinations to the excellent cooperation of the examination centres.
He also highlighted the significant contributions from the District Administration, the police, and HDFC Bank, all of which were instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient conduct of the examinations.
