Workshop
The Press Information Bureau, Shillong, in association with the Meghalaya Police, will organise a ‘Vartalap-Media Workshop’ on the three new criminal laws, viz. Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) 2023, Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) 2023 and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA), which will come into effect from July 1. According to a statement here, the programme will be held at 1.30 pm on Thursday and will be attended by DGP Idashisha Nongrang as the chief guest.
