Wild elephants attack, kill BSF SI in Dalu

TURA, June 27: In a tragic incident, a BSF Sub Inspector from the 100th battalion lost his life after being attacked by a group of wild elephants near Dalu in West Garo Hills, close to the international border with Bangladesh.
The deceased was identified as Rajbir Singh, who hailed from Haryana.
Another BSF constable was injured in the elephant attack and was brought to Tura for medial treatment.
They were on official duty when they were attacked by the wild elephants.
