Awareness prog on Meghalaya Right to Public Services Act

TURA, June 28: An awareness programme to sensitise the general public on the Meghalaya Right to Public Services Act, 2020 was held at Mendipathar College, Conference Hall, Resubelpara on Friday.
The programme organised by District Administration, North Garo Hills stressed the notified citizen-related services from government offices and the importance of time-bound dispensation of government services.
The Meghalaya State Public Services Delivery Commission was formed to oversee, monitor, and regulate the implementation of the Meghalaya Right to Public Services Act.
Police, medical, social welfare, and law departments highlighted various online and offline services to the citizens.
