The Additional Director of Health Services, Shillong Civil Hospital, has informed that one unknown male patient, aged around 49 years, was admitted at the ICU of the hospital at 1 pm on June 25 after he was brought by a 108 Ambulance from Nongpoh. The patient, however, passed away on the evening of July 2. In this regard, all concerned relatives, etc. have been asked to collect the body from the hospital morgue within three days, notice failing which the same will be sent for disposal by the Shillong Municipal Board.

Pension Adalat

The Department of Telecom (DoT) conducted a Pension Adalat recently at the Office of the Controller of Communication Accounts, CTO Building, Shillong, North East-I Telecom Circle. According to a statement here on Thursday, all grievances received were settled during the Pension Adalat. “Free health check-ups and yoga were also organised for the pensioners,” the statement said.
