SHILLONG, July 7: The Rotary Club of Orchid City Shillong commenced the Rotary year 2024-25 with its inaugural meeting on July 3. The event, held at Hotel Heiga at 7:30 PM, saw the formal installation of Antony War as the president of the Club, who will serve until June 30, 2025. Dr Abir Suchiang was also introduced as the new secretary.
The meeting was attended by Rotary members, including G Pradeep Pillai, the Assistant Governor of Zone 13 of Rotary International District 3240. The evening marked the beginning of a new chapter for the club, with a renewed focus on community service and leadership development.
