Body found in abandoned truck at Lad Rymbai

Shillong, July 10: An unidentified male body was discovered on July 4 at approximately 9 am inside an abandoned container truck at Joply Compound, Lad Rymbai Datsimpein, in East Jaintia Hills. Authorities conducted an inquest over the body and subsequently transferred it to Khliehriat Civil Hospital in East Jaintia Hills for post-mortem examination. The body is currently being kept in the hospital’s morgue for identification.
According to police description, the deceased is fair-complexioned, has short hair, oval face and stands approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall. He was found wearing green trousers and a grey track suit jacket with white stripes.
