SHILLONG, July 12: With the aim to foster innovation and leadership among aspiring young leaders, addressing key issues such as pollution, sustainable tourism, youth employment, and waste management in Meghalaya, Martin Luther Christian University (MLCU) successfully partnered with PRIME Meghalaya to host the highly anticipated Impact Week from July 4 to July 11.
This week-long event commenced with a three-day training programme where senior coaches from the Impact Week team mentored junior coaches. This intensive training equipped junior coaches with essential skills and strategies to inspire and guide the next generation of innovators. In the subsequent four days, junior coaches led training sessions for students from 15 institutions across Meghalaya. These sessions included hands-on workshops and collaborative activities that emphasised creative problem-solving and innovative thinking.
