Dr Chintey, who served in M’laya, passes away

SHILLONG, July 22: Dr Lakhi Nath Chintey, a distinguished doctor with specialisation in chest diseases, passed away due to cardiac arrest at Guwahati on July 3.
A resident of North Lakhimpur, Assam, Dr Chintey had returned to India and served tirelessly at Reid Chest Hospital in Shillong. He even conducted numerous free OPD check-ups and volunteered at the Ramakrishna Mission Hospital here. His professional journey took him across various hospitals in Meghalaya where he touched the lives of many with his healing hands.
