Border talks: Conrad to meet Himanta soon

SHILLONG, July 26: Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma will hold a meeting with his Assam counterpart, Himanta Biswa Sarma ahead of the resumption of the second phase of the interstate border dispute resolution talks.
Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong on Friday said before the second phase of talks resume, the two CMs will hold discussions to chalk out the plan of action.
He said that the three border regional committees have not yet completed their preparatory works like inspecting the disputed areas.
