SHILLONG, July 26: The high-powered committee overseeing the retrofitting work on the Umiam dam will meet on Monday to fix the date for reopening of the dam to regular traffic.
The meeting will be attended by consultants from IIT Guwahati, the Director General of Police, PWD officials and district administration representatives from East Khasi Hills and Ri-Bhoi.
