SHILLONG, July 31: Former Phulbari MLA SG Esmatur Mominin on Tuesday called on the Director of School Education and Literacy (DSEL) and lodged a complaint against the constitution of a school managing committee (SMC) at Jana Priya Higher Secondary School, Bholarbhita, West Garo Hills.
Terming the SMC formation unjust with vested interest, Mominin said that there was no order issued to the school principal by the West Garo Hills District School Education Officer (DSEO) for convening a meeting to constitute the SMC.
The former MLA has also asked the DSEL to call a general meeting for constitution of a regular managing committee.
