Man found ‘murdered’ in WJH village

SHILLONG, Aug 2: One person from a remote village in West Jaintia Hills was reportedly killed over a land dispute.
The body of the victim, who was identified as Donboklang Iai Talang, was found hanging by the police on July 20 in Moojem village of the district, two days after he went missing.  Suspecting foul play, the family members registered a case with police.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the deceased had been murdered allegedly over some land dispute.
Three accused, viz. Tellme Saphai, Kor Talang and Blo Talang, all hailing from Dienler village, have been arrested in this connection.
