Meghalaya Masters TT C’ships today

Shillong, Aug 9: The Meghalaya Veteran Table Tennis Association (MVTTA) is set to host its annual “Meghalaya Masters TT Team Championships” in celebration of World Environment Day.
The tournament, now in its sixth edition, will take place at the Polo Stadium in Shillong on Saturday, August 10, 2024.
This event will bring together former table tennis players, known as Masters, from various districts across Meghalaya to compete as teams.
Eight teams, each carrying a unique environmental message—Go Green, Stay Fit, Save Fuel, Swachh Bharat, Save Trees, Save Water, Save Earth, and Protect Nature—will vie for the championship title.
The prize distribution ceremony will be held on the same day, immediately following the conclusion of the tournament.The Meghalaya Masters TT Team Championships not only promise an exciting display of skill and sportsmanship but also serve as a reminder of the importance of environmental conservation.
