Over 1000 register for 3rd Sohra Int’l Half Marathon

Shillong, Aug 12: More than 1,000 runners have registered themselves for the 3rd Sohra International Half Marathon 2024, which is scheduled to take place on September 21.
Two Kenyans, Wycliffe Nyagotuga Juma and Eliakim Kiplimo Cheruiyot, have also confirmed their participation.
With less than a month to go until registration closes on September 10, the Meghalaya State Olympic Association, who are organising the event, have requested all those interested to register as soon as possible. A maximum of 4,000 entries will be accepted.
For those who want to register for the 5km Run for Fun, offline registration is accepted in the MSOA office at the JN Sports Complex, Shillong.
Athletes from the Sohra region can register at the shop of Sol Shullai near Thanat petrol pump. Students can register through their respective schools.
