In its continued drive against illicit liquor, the Excise staff of East Khasi Hills conducted raids in restaurants and stalls in the town, and its outskirts where during March-June, and detected 51 cases, while making a seizure of 2,874.12 litre of illicitly distilled liquor and 759.9 litres of IMFL. In this connection, 15 persons have been arrested.
