81st Balidan Diwas and 33rd Nepali Bhasha Manyata Diwas celebrated at Upper Mawprem Cultural Centre, on Sunday. Organised by Bharatiya Gorkha Parisangh, Meghalaya Branch and Meghalaya Nepali Sahitya Sammelan, Shillong, the programme had Nityananda Upadhyay, national president of Bharatiya Gorkha Parisangh, as the chief guest and Ram Prasad Upadhaya, Vice Principal of Gorkha Higher Secondary School, Upper Shillong, as the chief guest of the programme.
