Conrad Sangma recovers from illness

Shillong, August 28: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma continues to be under treatment for the medical conditions caused by the typhoid and scrub typhus – the climate change induced disease.

The CM is currently recovering well trying to get back to normalcy through diet and medication, according to a Press release.

Senior health officials along with a team of specialists from Civil Hospital, Shillong and NEIGRIHMS have visited him today at his residence to assess the medical condition.

Depending on the overall improvement in his conditions, he may try and attend the remaining days of the assembly session.
