AICC appoints Szarita Laitphlang as gen secy of Chhattisgarh unit

NEW DELHI, Aug 30: Szarita Laitphlang from Meghalaya was on Friday appointed party general secretary for Chhattisgarh by the AICC. Earlier, she was AICC national secretary and party in charge of Tripura.
Meanwhile, SA Sampath Kumar has also been appointed general secretary in charge of Chhattisgarh along with Laitphlang.
Laitphlang is active in state politics and meets top party leaders along with functionaries from the state from time to time.
