SHILLONG, Aug 30: The state government on Friday extended the terms of the KHADC and JHADC by another six months.
The extension was on expected lines since the two councils had just passed the amendment rules seeking delimitation of their existing constituencies ahead of the elections.
The extended terms will expire on March 4, 2025.
