KSU honours Kisstarlin for excellence in refereeing

Mawkyrwat, Aug 30: The Sports Committee of the KSU South West Khasi Hills has recognized Kisstarlin Wanniang, a prominent Football and Futsal referee from the South West Khasi Hills District, for his significant contributions to the sport.
Wanniang has officiated at numerous National-level Futsal and Beach Soccer tournaments, earning him a reputation as a distinguished referee in the field.
In 2022, Wanniang was selected to referee at the prestigious All India Futsal Clubs Championship in New Delhi.
His expertise led to further recognition in 2023 when he was chosen to officiate the Hero National Beach Soccer Championship at Dumas Beach in Surat, Gujarat. Continuing his streak of excellence, Wanniang was again selected in 2024 to referee at the All India Futsal Clubs Championship, this time held in Vadodara, Gujarat.
Throughout his career, Wanniang has consistently represented his district at major Futsal and Football tournaments across the country. The KSU South West Khasi Hills Sports Committee has extended its heartfelt congratulations to him, expressing confidence that his dedication and skill will continue to bring honor to the region and inspire the local community.
