Prestone hospitalised after suffering mild stroke

SHILLONG, Sep 9: Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong was admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) at Nazareth Hospital on Monday after suffering a mild stroke.
Sources close to the family said he was rushed to the hospital at around 5 pm after his blood pressure started fluctuating.
An official health bulletin informed that the deputy CM was admitted in Nazareth Hospital under the Department of Neurosurgery for a small Subdural Hemorrhage, the cause for which is still under investigation.
“He is however conscious and alert and his condition is stable,” the health bulletin added.
