SHILLONG, Sep 10: The District Level Protection Cell of Transgender has been set up in West Khasi Hills under the Chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner.
In view of this, and in line with the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Rules, 2020, registration for obtaining the transgender certificate as part of the SMILE scheme can be made online on the National Portal for Transgender, a statement issued here said.
