Shillong, Sep 15: As part of their Platinum Jubilee celebrations, the 119 Territorial Army organised an exhilarating 40-motorcycle rally from Kenches Trace to Cherrapunji and back. The event, held on September 15, highlighted the spirit of adventure and community engagement, while also showcasing the discipline and coordination of the Territorial Army.
The rally took participants through a demanding route that featured a variety of terrains, requiring strategic planning and expert execution. Starting in the early morning from Kenches Trace, the riders made their way through the scenic yet challenging landscapes, eventually reaching the iconic destination of Cherrapunji. The return journey proved equally thrilling, with the rally concluding at Kenches Trace, where the participants were welcomed with a grand reception.
The primary objectives of the rally were to foster camaraderie among the participants, promote a sense of adventure, and display the operational readiness of the Territorial Army.
