No water supply in Shillong on Sept 25 and 26

SHILLONG, Sep 23: Water supply to Shillong city and its adjoining areas will be disrupted on Tuesday and Wednesday (September 25 and 26) in the wake of the ongoing Shillong-Dawki road construction work.
“…there will be a shutdown of the Greater Shillong Water Supply Scheme for a period of two days (September 25 and 26) due to interconnection of D.I. pipelines under Shifting of PHE utilities for improvement and widening of Shillong-Dawki Road (NH-40),” the Chief Engineer, PHE department, B Lyndem, said in a statement.
