Rissnalin Syiemlieh has been awarded PhD in Physical Science from Gauhati University, Guwahati, Assam, for her thesis ‘Variability Study of Stellar Systems through Data Analytics’, which she completed under the supervision of Prof Eeshankur Saikia, Head of the Department of Applied Sciences, Gauhati University. She is the daughter of Lestar Kurbah and Jenita Syiemlieh from Lawsohtun Block-1.
