Shillong, Oct 14: Aroha Music and Cultural Society in collaboration with Dr. H Gordon Robert’s Hospital will be holding ‘Symphony in Support’ concert for fund-raising in aid of the Person to Patient Fund of the hospital at the Soso Tham auditorium on October 19 from 5pm onwards.

As part of the event, there will be panel discussions featuring medical experts and a free medical camp on October 17 and 18. The event will conclude with a musical extravaganza at the Soso Tham Auditorium.

While speaking to reporters at the Shillong Press Club, Aroha Music and Cultural Society founder, Pauline Warjri said that they were organizing the musical extravaganza to fulfill the wish of her late father, AH Scott Lyngdoh who in his lifetime wished to raise funds for the hospital.

She said that she had not been able to organise events to raise funds for the hospital when he was still alive.

“I am grateful to the hospital for agreeing to be part of this small initiative of the society,” Warjri said.
